Last reviewed July 2026. These are the terms on which we publish this website. They are not a contract of stay; a contract for a stay at Ege Garden is formed only when we have exchanged written confirmation with you by email or post.

1. About this website

This website is published by Ege Garden, a hotel at Fjærland, Norway. It describes the house, the four rooms, the table, the sauna raft and the gaming gallery. It is written in the first person plural because the house speaks it. The information is offered in good faith and reviewed regularly.

2. Using the site

You may read the pages, share them by URL, and print them for your own use. You may not copy the photography, the illustrations or the written descriptions for commercial republication without our written permission. The wordmark and the plateau glyph are the property of the house.

3. Enquiries and rates

Rates are quoted per stay as full-board arrangements, on written enquiry. The site itself does not display figures because the arrangement depends on the room, the length of stay and the season. A quotation we send you by email is valid for fourteen days from its date, unless the note itself says otherwise.

4. The gaming gallery

The gaming gallery is open to guests of the house and their invited company. It is restricted to persons aged eighteen and over; those who look under twenty-five will be asked, kindly, for ID at the door. Play is held as one room of the house among others, at a modest register of stakes; the room closes when it closes.

5. Accuracy

We take reasonable care that the descriptions on this site are accurate at the date on the review line above. Weather, roadworks and the small changes of a working hotel mean that details may shift; we will tell you of anything material at the time of your quotation.

6. Liability

We do not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on general descriptions on this website where the loss could have been avoided by asking us directly. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Norwegian consumer law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved in correspondence with the house will be brought before the competent Norwegian courts.
